Our area is famous for their beautiful beaches. From Alicante to Murcia you can find all different kinds of beaches. For example in Orihuela Costa you have a 16 kilometres of coastline which varies from rugged coastline with crystal-clear water to fine white sandy beaches. These beaches are ideal for water-sports, fishing etc., or for just relaxing and enjoying the wonderful Orihuela Costa weather.

This very attractive and popular beach is bordered on the north by the beach of Náufragos (Torrevieja) and on the south by the Cala Mosca.

The narrow cove beach is a favourite of the regular holiday-makers and is divided into two levels with a length of 170 meters by 14 wide and it is accessed by ramps and stairs. Recently a lift was installed which facilitates access for the elderly and physically handicapped to the beach area.

This beach also boasts the full range of facilities that one would expect on an Orihuela Costa beach together with a bus stop and public telephone.

Playa Flamenca

Playa Flamenca is in the centre of Orihuela Costa and has two nice sandy beaches. The town hall of Orihuela Costa also belongs to Playa Flamenca.

Cala la Mosca
La Cala La Mosca is one of the sand beaches on the Orihuela Costa which belongs to the Urbanisation Playa Flamenca. One part of the Cala la Mosca is easy to access, the other part is an untouched beach which is not adapted for disabled persons.

Cala Estaca
This popular and award winning beach has a length of 150 meters with an average width of 16 meters and there are no obstacles in accessing it.

This is an open beach of fine sand and it is extremely popular with bathers and sun-seekers alike. Bordered on the north by the Cala Mosca and south by the Cala Cerrada (La Zenia beach). The beaches of Playa Flamenca ara very busy beaches on the Orihuela Costa. 

This beach has again been awarded the prized Blue Flag, acknowledging the constant attention the beach and its facilities receive from the town hall.

There are parking facilities, special access for handicapped people, telephone, play area, toilets and foot-washing facilities, a life-guard tower and a Red Cross station.  There is also a bus stop and taxi rank.  There is also a popular promenade and several walkways. Close to the beach are a number of popular restaurants where visitors can taste the traditional dishes of the area.

La Zenia

La Zenia is a very popular area on the Orihuela Costa. In the last years it developed to the secret centre of Orihuela Costa. The brand new Comercial Centre Zenia Boulevard and the very famous beer brewery De Bassus are located here.The Urbanisation La Zenia has two very nice and famous beaches.

Cala Cerrada
Cala Cerrada is a smaller beach with fine golden sand and crystal clear water which will enchant you. It is 167 meters long by 25 wide. Red Cross and lifeguard services are available during the summer.
There is a beach bar open from the middle of March until the end of October. Foot showers are available on the beach, and there are also sun loungers, beach umbrellas, and lockers for hire.
There are three individual toilet cubicles available: one for women, one for men, and one for anyone who is physically handicapped. They are cleaned following a strict cleaning procedure three times a day.

Cala Bosque
This is one of the busiest beaches in the Orihuela Costa. This sandy beach is 350 meters long by 60 wide. This very popular beach is caarying now a Blue Flag, it is an ideal location for the practising of all sorts of water sports. There is special access for handicapped persons, toilets, foot-washing facilities and a Red Cross station, public telephone, parking, play area, taxi-rank and a bus service to the area. Located near this beach you can also find many restaurants where you can indulge in excellent Spanish and European cuisine. The nearby hotels offer excellent accommodation.

The beautiful beaches of Cabo Roig are bordered on the north side by the beach Cala Bosque and on the south by the beach of Playa Aguamarina.

Cala Capitán
This charming cove is sheltered from the wind by a small island which can be reached by foot. The beach is 152 metres long by 85 metres wide.
The beach has fine sand and crystal clear water. It is easy to access and has a large number of children´ play areas, which makes it the most popular beach with families during the summer. Red Cross and lifeguard services are available during the summer.

Playa La Caleta
The beach is 420 metres long by 18 metres wide and is cove shaped and it is accessed by newly refurbished ramps and stairs. The beach was awarded the coveted Blue Flag again this year as was the nearby marina.
The beach has much to offer from excellent quality water and sand to an ideal environment for those wishing to participate in a wide range of water sports such as sailing, windsurfing, skiing etc. There are parking facilities, a public telephone, special access for handicapped people, a bus stop, toilets and foot-washing facilities, a life-guard tower and a Red Cross station. There are numerous fine restaurants in the surrounding area offering a wide variety of good food.

Playa Aguamarina

This beach is tucked out of sight at the foot of the Aguamarina residential estate. It is a very fine sandy beach with clear and shallow water. Playa aguamarina is the ideal spot for those who are looking for peace and tranquillity during their stay on the coast. There is a beach bar available playing lounge music to make your day more relaxing, while its staff will help you forget the stress of everyday life.
Red Cross and lifeguard services are available during the summer. The beach bar is open from the middle of May to the end of September.

Mil Palmeras

The Playa Mil Palmeras is a natural beach, located close to the Playa Barranco Rubio and it has repeatedly been awarded Blue Flag status. This open beach boasts fine white sand and is 346 meters long by 45 wide.
There are parking facilities, special access for handicapped people, toilets and foot-washing facilities, a life-guard tower and a Red Cross station.

 

 
Dehesa de Campoamor

The Urbanisation Dehesa de Campoamor is a green oasis on the Mediterranean coast. The beaches in Campoamor are also very attractive and popular particularly during the summer time with Spanish tourists - mostly from Murcia, Alicante and Madrid, and also with tourists from the rest of Europe, particularly from Germany and Great Britain.

Playa La Glea
The Playa La Glea is 550 meters long by 30 wide and and offers a range of water sports, as jet skis, banana boats, and paddle boats etc are available for hire from the middle of June to the end of September. A First-Aid booth manned by the Red Cross, sanitation and other facilities are available. This beach is awarded the coveted ‘Blue Flag’ every year. This beach is not only popular with foreign tourists but also with residents from Orihuela Costa and Torrevieja, who flock to this beach every year.

Playa Barranco Rubio
The Playa Barranco Rubio is 700 meters long by 50 wide. Traditionally this beach is mainly visited by tourists from the interior in Murcia and Alicante regions and these people tend to visit Campoamor every year so they all know each other, which makes for a very friendly and familiar atmosphere. The beach invites visitors to take an agreeable stroll along the seashore before enjoying a cold beer in the beach bar. There are also paddle boats for hire. Red Cross and lifeguard services are available during the summer.
